The Udupa Music Festival 2026 spans three evenings from 20 to 22 February, showcasing a wide spectrum of Indian classical music traditions along with contemporary and fusion elements. Organized by the Udupa Foundation, the festival features curated concerts with senior maestros and accomplished performers.

20 February

Concert 1 opens with a Hindustani classical vocal recital by Begum Parveen Sultana, accompanied by Dr. Ravindra Gururaj Katti on harmonium and Shri Ojas Adhiya on tabla.

Concert 2 features a sitar performance by Shri Purbayan Chatterjee, with tabla accompaniment by Shri Ojas Adhiya.


21 February

The evening begins with a Talavadya (percussion-focused) segment featuring Vidwan R. Thiruvaarur Bhakthavatsalam on mridangam, Shri Nivash Sharma on dholak, and Shri Vijay Shankar Chavan on dholki.

The second concert presents a Carnatic vocal duet by Vidushi Ranjani and Vidushi Gayatri. They are joined by Vidushi Charumathi Raghuraman on violin, Vidwan Sai Giridhar Kuchibhotla on mridangam, and Vidwan N. Vazhappally R. Krishnakumar on ghatam.


22 February

The final day features a multi-artist concert blending classical and contemporary sounds. The lineup includes Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on Mohan Veena, Vidwan Shashank Subramanyam on flute, and vocalist Vidwan Harish Sivaramakrishnan.

They are joined by Darshan Doshi on drums, Sheldon D’Silva on bass guitar, Manjunath Satyanarayanan on drums and percussion, Rahul Wadhwani on keyboards, and Himanshu Mahant on tabla.
