Tokio Studyo presents Kaushiki Chakraborty Live in Tokyo, a Hindustani classical music concert featuring one of the foremost vocalists of the Patiala Gharana. Scheduled for 7 September 2026 at HIKOSEN Theatre in Tokyo, the concert brings Kaushiki Chakraborty's acclaimed artistry to Japanese audiences as part of Tokio Studyo's ongoing efforts to promote Indian classical music in Japan.
Joining her on stage are Ojas Adhiya on tabla, Murad Ali on sarangi, and Jyotirmoy Banerjee on harmonium, creating an ensemble that reflects the traditional Hindustani concert format. The programme will feature khayal and other classical compositions rooted in the Patiala Gharana, complemented by instrumental accompaniment from some of India's leading classical musicians.
