About Rageshri
Rageshri is a studio album by Indian classical vocalist Kaushiki Chakrabarty. Released on January 1, 2007, the album presents a detailed exploration of Raga Rageshri alongside complementary compositions in other ragas. The recording appeared in CD format with a total of six tracks.
Chakrabarty opens the album with a slow alap in Raga Rageshri, establishing the raga’s melodic framework.
