The 6th Annual Musical Eve, organized by the Pt. Samir Dey Students’ Association, will take place on 28 March 2026 at 3:30 PM at Rastriya Nach Ghar, Jamal, Kathmandu. The event will present an evening of classical music performances featuring established musicians alongside emerging artists from the Nepali classical music community.

The concert will include performances by instrumentalists and vocalists representing various traditions of Hindustani classical music. Featured artists include Pt. Rupak Kulkarni (flute), Pt. Shailendra Mishra (tabla), Pt. Samir Dey (tabla), Pt. Ashim Chowdhury (sitar), Nagendra Bikram Rai (flute), Jagannath Dhaugoda (tabla), Santosh Bhakta Shrestha (esraj), Laboni Chakraborty (khayal), and Agraj Bhattarai (harmonium), along with other accompanying musicians.

Presented as an annual cultural program, the Musical Eve highlights the educational and performance activities of the Pt. Samir Dey Students’ Association. The event brings together students, teachers, and professional musicians in a shared platform that celebrates classical music training, performance, and cultural exchange in Kathmandu.
