Nagendra Bikram Rai is a Nepalese flutist and recording artist known for his performances in Nepali folk and melodic flute traditions. His music reflects the rich cultural heritage of Nepal, particularly the expressive style of Purbeli folk melodies, which are often interpreted through instrumental flute performances. Through recordings and studio collaborations, he has developed a presence in the Nepali music scene as a performer of traditional and contemporary instrumental music.
Rai frequently collaborates with musicians, composers, and recording studios to produce flute-based instrumental works. He has recorded several sessions at Studio King in Nepal, contributing to projects focused on Nepali folk music and melodic instrumental arrangements. His work often combines traditional folk motifs with modern studio production, presenting familiar regional melodies through instrumental interpretation.
Among his recorded releases are tracks such as “Flute Music: Nepali Folk Melody” (2024) and “Banchari—The Tribute” (2023).
