Saranya B Mangal – Veena Concert | Music Academy Madras Endowment Programme (20 March 2026)

A veena concert by Saranya B Mangal will be presented as part of the Endowment Programme at The Music Academy, Madras, on Friday, 20 March 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The performance will take place at Kasturi Srinivasan Hall, one of the principal concert venues of the institution in Chennai.

Saranya B Mangal, recognized as a young veena artist in the Carnatic music tradition, will present a classical recital featuring compositions from the South Indian repertoire. She will be accompanied by percussion artists Aswini Srinivasan on mridangam and R. A. Rohith on ghatam, forming the rhythmic support for the performance.

The concert is organized under an endowment established by Smt. Rajamma and Sri N. Gopalaswami, former Chief Election Commissioner of India, in memory of their grandmother, Smt. Kanakam Raghavachari. The program is part of the Music Academy’s continuing series of concerts that support and showcase emerging Carnatic musicians.
