Saranya Mangal

Saranya Mangal (also known as Saranya B. Mangal) is a Carnatic classical musician and Saraswati Veena artist from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She is recognized for her refined playing style and deep understanding of the Carnatic tradition. With more than two decades of performance experience, she has established herself as a respected performer in the South Indian classical music circuit.

She is a graded artist of All India Radio (AIR), holding an ‘A’ grade in Veena and a ‘B High’ grade in Carnatic vocal music. Over the years, she has performed at several prominent music festivals and cultural platforms, including the Neelakanta Sivan Music Festival and the Swathi Thirunal Music Festival. Her recitals have also been featured on national broadcast platforms such as Akhil Bharatiya Sangeet Sabha, highlighting her continuing presence in the classical music scene.

In addition to her performing career, Saranya Mangal is an active music educator and mentor. She teaches Carnatic Veena and vocal music to students across different levels, including beginners and advanced learners. Through teaching initiatives and online platforms, she contributes to the transmission of classical knowledge and helps introduce the traditions of Carnatic instrumental and vocal music to a global community of students.
