Day 2 of Sahityotsava Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Kaarva’n Virasat – Chandigarh 2026 at Tagore Theatre features a diverse celebration of Indian literature, theatre, Sufi traditions, folk music, and Hindustani classical arts. The evening opens with Sufi folk presentations by Zubair Alam & Group from Bhopal, followed by poetic renditions by Vaishnavi Sharma. The festival also presents the theatrical production “Pagdi Sambhal Jatta” directed by Rajiv Gaur with music by Dr Sangeeta Gaur. A major highlight of the evening is the Hindustani classical vocal recital by Sajan Mishra and Swaransh Mishra, accompanied by Pt. Dharamnath Mishra on harmonium and Abhishek Mishra on tabla. The program further includes literary humour and poetry by Padma Shri Prof. Ashok Chakradhar and Padma Shri Surender Sharma, concluding with soulful Sufi singing by Dr Mamta Joshi.
