About Jashn-e-Adab Foundation
Jashn-e-Adab Foundation is a prominent non-profit cultural organisation established to preserve and promote India’s literary, artistic, and performing arts heritage through festivals, discussions, performances, and cultural outreach initiatives. Founded by poet Kunwar Ranjeet Singh Chauhan, the organisation is best known for organising the nationwide Sahityotsava Jashn-e-Adab and the travelling Cultural Kaarvan Virasat series. Its events feature Mushairas, Kavi Sammelans, ghazal singing, Sufi music, Qawwali, Kathak dance, theatre, Daastango storytelling, literary discussions, book launches, and cultural dialogues connecting traditional arts with contemporary audiences.
History
Jashn-e-Adab Foundation was established in 2012 with the vision of reviving and celebrating India’s composite literary and cultural traditions, particularly the heritage of Hindi and Urdu. Beginning as a poetry-focused initiative, the organisation gradually evolved into a nationwide cultural movement organising multi-city literature and arts festivals across Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and other cities while creating platforms for both legendary and emerging artists, writers, musicians, and performers.
