Swaransh Mishra

Swaransh Mishra is an accomplished Hindustani classical vocalist representing the sixth generation of the legendary Banaras Gharana tradition. He is the son and disciple of Sajan Mishra and the nephew of the late Rajan Mishra, the iconic duo popularly known as Rajan-Sajan Mishra. Trained in the deep spiritual and melodic traditions of the Banaras style, Swaransh carries forward classical forms such as Khayal, Thumri, and Dadra while preserving the family’s renowned jugalbandi presentation style. He has performed at major Indian classical music festivals and cultural events alongside senior maestros, continuing the rich musical legacy of his gharana for contemporary audiences.
