The program opens with a flute and tabla jugalbandi by Pandit Ronu Majumdar and Pandit Kumar Bose. The performance brings together the expressive depth of bansuri with intricate tabla accompaniment, exploring the dynamic interplay between melody and rhythm.
The second half features a tabla duet by Pandit Nayan Ghosh and Shri Ishaan Ghosh, accompanied by Ustad Sabir Sultan Khan on sarangi. This presentation highlights the rich tradition of tabla performance through solo and duet compositions, supported by melodic sarangi accompaniment.
Organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra, the Sammelan continues its legacy as a major platform for Indian classical music, presenting leading artists across generations.
