Biography
Pandit Ronu Majumdar (born 22 June 1963) is an Indian flautist known for his work in Hindustani classical music. Born in Benares, he learned music from his father, who was a student of Pandit Pannalal Ghosh. He received the Padma Shri award in 2025 and has performed in many countries around the world. Ronu Majumdar has collaborated with great musicians like Pandit Ravi Shankar and released more than 30 albums. His creative style, fusion projects, and world record performances continue to inspire young artists everywhere.
