Kala Unboxed E05 presents an exciting evening of rhythm and musical dialogue through a unique Jugalbandi featuring some of India's distinguished percussion artists. Curated as an experience that explores art both in the moment and beyond, the event brings together the dynamic mridangam artistry of Vidwan Shridhar Parthasarathy and the expressive tabla performance of Pt. Aditya Kalyanpur. Adding further rhythmic dimensions to the presentation is Pt. Navin Sharma on dholak, while Pt. Ajay Joglekar provides melodic accompaniment on harmonium. Scheduled in the monsoon month of July, the concert promises an energetic celebration of Indian percussion traditions, blending the rhythmic languages of Hindustani and Carnatic music in an engaging and memorable performance.
