Komal Nishad Indian Classical Music Festival 2026 brings together leading and emerging artists of Hindustani classical music for a two-day celebration in Vadodara. Organised by Komal Nishad, an organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian classical music, the festival serves as a platform for both established maestros and promising young performers.
The evening features vocalist Dhanashri Ghaisas, a disciple of Padma Shri Ashwini Bhide Deshpande, presenting a Hindustani classical vocal recital accompanied by Supriya Joshi on harmonium and Yati Bhagwat on tabla. The programme also includes a sitar recital by Dhruv Bedi of the Etawah Gharana, accompanied by Pt. Shubh Maharaj on tabla.
Hosted at the Rosary School Auditorium in Fatehganj, Vadodara, the festival highlights the traditions of khayal, instrumental music, raga exposition, and tabla accompaniment, while offering audiences an opportunity to experience some of the finest expressions of Indian classical music.
