Babar Latif Khan is an accomplished Indian tabla artist from the Delhi Gharana, belonging to its fifth generation. He is the son of noted tabla exponent Ustad Latif Ahmed Khan and received his training under Ustad Munnu Khan, the Khalifa of the Delhi Gharana.

Dhwani Festival 2026, organized by AntarDhwani Cultural Society, will take place on 22 March 2026 at the Triveni Amphitheatre. The event is presented as a tribute (Shradhanjali) to the legendary vocalist Pt. Rajan Mishra and brings together leading artists of the Hindustani classical tradition.

The program features a duo vocal recital by Ritesh Mishra and Rajnish Mishra, representing the Banaras gharana. The evening also includes a violin recital by Shubham Sarkar, accompanied on tabla by Ustad Babar Latif Khan. The vocal recital will be supported by Pradip K. Sarkar and harmonium accompaniment by Sumit Mishra.

Scheduled at 6:30 PM, the open-air concert also includes a Saraswati Vandana presented by students of Sur Malhaar. As part of Delhi’s active classical music circuit, the festival brings together vocal, instrumental, and devotional elements in a curated evening dedicated to the Banaras gharana legacy.
