Organised as part of Akashvani's landmark 90-year journey, the event marks the inauguration of a special photo gallery dedicated to legendary musicians whose voices and artistry enriched generations of listeners through radio broadcasting. Adding to the significance of the occasion, legendary bansuri maestro Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia will grace the event as the Guest of Honour, while his distinguished disciple Pt. Rupak Kulkarni will present a captivating flute recital reflecting the timeless values of the Guru–Shishya tradition. Blending remembrance, reverence, and live music, the evening stands as a tribute to the institutions and artists who shaped India's classical music landscape.

Akashvani Delhi presents Swar Prerana Veethika, a commemorative event celebrating the organisation's rich cultural legacy and its invaluable role in preserving and promoting Indian classical music. The programme includes the inauguration of the Photo Gallery of Eminent Music Maestros at Broadcasting House, Sansad Marg, followed by a special musical presentation by Pt. Rupak Kulkarni.
