GuruSmruthi 2026: Begum Parveen Sultana Live in Bengaluru

GuruSmruthi 2026, presented by Swara Sowrabha and the Academy of Music, is a distinguished Indian classical music festival dedicated to honouring the legacy of the legendary seven-string violin maestro Sri R. R. Keshavamurthy. As part of this year's celebrations at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bengaluru, Padma Bhushan Begum Parveen Sultana will present a grand Hindustani vocal recital accompanied by Pt. Vishwanath Nakod on tabla and Pt. Vyasamurthi Katti on harmonium.

Recognised as one of the foremost exponents of Hindustani classical music, Begum Parveen Sultana is admired for her remarkable vocal range, mastery of raga exposition, and decades-long contribution to the Indian classical music tradition.
