The South Indian Music Academy (SIMA), Los Angeles, presents a Carnatic classical music concert featuring the renowned violin duo Ganesh and Kumaresh. Known for their dynamic violin performances and innovative approach to Carnatic music, the brothers bring their signature style to audiences in Southern California as part of SIMA’s concert series.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 11 April 2026, at 5:00 PM at the William and Jane Bristol Civic Auditorium, Bellflower, California. The performance will showcase the expressive and rhythmic possibilities of the Carnatic violin through raga improvisation and traditional compositions.
The duo will be accompanied by leading Carnatic percussionists Patri Satish Kumar on mridangam and Trichy Krishnaswamy on ghatam, creating a traditional ensemble format for Carnatic concerts. Organized by SIMA Los Angeles, the event highlights the academy’s commitment to presenting distinguished Indian classical musicians and promoting Carnatic music to audiences in the United States.
