The opening evening of Dhruva Swar pays tribute to the remarkable musical legacy of legendary sarangi maestro Pt. Dhruva Ghosh through an evocative presentation of instrumental and vocal music at Baithak Hall, Sangit Mahabharati. Organised by Sangit Mahabharati in association with the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, the concert celebrates the artistic values, sensitivity, and musical excellence that defined Pt. Dhruva Ghosh's illustrious career and contribution to Hindustani classical music. 

The evening features acclaimed santoor artist Shantanu Gokhale and vocalist Anubhab Khamaru, accompanied by talented co-artists including Ishaan Ghosh, Vanraj Shastri, Abhinay Ravande, and Rahul Bene. Through melodic exploration and artistic dialogue, the programme honours the spirit of mentorship and musical tradition that Pt. Dhruva Ghosh embodied, offering audiences an evening of reflection, reverence, and exceptional artistry.
