The concluding presentation of Bansuri Parampara 2026 (Day 1) features a Dhrupad recital by Padma Shri Pt. Umakant Gundecha and Shri Anant Gundecha, renowned exponents of the Dhrupad tradition. Their performances are known for the meditative and expansive exploration of ragas, reflecting the depth and discipline of one of the oldest forms of Hindustani classical music.

The recital will be accompanied by Pt. Akhilesh Gundecha on pakhawaj, whose rhythmic accompaniment complements the structure and gravity of the Dhrupad style. The performance highlights the traditional format of alap, jor, and composition-based presentation, emphasizing the rich musical heritage of the Dhrupad genre.

Scheduled from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM on 14 March 2026, the performance will take place at The Poona Western Club, Bhugaon, Pune.
