Anubrata Chatterjee

Anubrata Chatterjee is an acclaimed Indian tabla player and percussionist representing the Farrukhabad gharana of Hindustani classical music. Born into a renowned musical family, he is the son and disciple of celebrated tabla maestro Anindo Chatterjee and also trained under the legendary Padmabhushan Jnan Prakash Ghosh. Known for his intricate rhythmic command and versatile performance style, he has accompanied iconic artists including Hariprasad Chaurasia, Amjad Ali Khan, Birju Maharaj, Shivkumar Sharma, and Shahid Parvez. He has performed internationally at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Centre, Wigmore Hall, and the Esplanade Theatre while also collaborating with global jazz and fusion musicians such as Wynton Marsalis.
