Trinity Trio: Debasis Chakroborty, Deepak Shah, and Durjay Bhaumik was presented at Dartington Trust Hall in Totnes as part of the Kala Festival’s music programming. The concert explored Indian classical idioms through a multi-instrumental format combining melody and rhythm across traditions.

The trio featured Debasis Chakroborty on Indian slide guitar, presenting raga-based phrasing adapted to the instrument’s sustaining and gliding capabilities. His approach reflects the gayaki-ang inspired style associated with Hindustani instrumental music.
