SwarLayachhand Musical Festival 2026 presents an evening of Santoor by renowned maestro Pt. Abhay Rustum Sopori on 31 May 2026 at Muktadhara Auditorium, New Delhi. Belonging to the legendary Sopori Sufiana Gharana of Kashmir, he represents a musical lineage spanning over 300 years and was trained by Padma Shri Bhajan Sopori ji. Known for blending Hindustani classical, Sufi, and Kashmiri folk traditions, the artist will be accompanied by Shri Ujith Udaya Kumar on tabla. The festival is organised by Dr Shilpa Mishra under the guidance of Pt Bholanath Mishra Ji.
