The Swami Haridas–Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsava presents its Day 1 concert on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Sir Shankarlal Hall, Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, starting at 6:00 pm.
The program features an ensemble of distinguished Indian classical musicians. Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt, renowned for his creation and mastery of the Mohan Veena, performs alongside Pt. Salil Bhatt, a leading practitioner of the Satvik Veena tradition. The instrumental segment is further enriched by Ustad Shujaat Khan, one of the foremost sitarists of the Imdadkhani gharana.
The vocal tradition is represented by Vidushi Ashwini Bhide Deshpande, a senior Hindustani classical vocalist known for her work in the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana. Together, the artists present a curated evening reflecting the depth, continuity, and diversity of Indian classical music as part of this long-standing cultural festival.
