The third day of the Swami Haridas–Tansen Sangeet Nritya Mahotsava 2026 brings together three distinguished streams of Indian classical arts—dance, instrumental music, and vocal tradition—on a single stage. The evening opens with a Kathak presentation by renowned dancer and scholar Dr. Uma Sharma, accompanied by her disciples, reflecting the depth of the Lucknow and Jaipur traditions through abhinaya, rhythm, and classical repertoire.
The program continues with a santoor recital by Pt. Rahul Shivkumar Sharma, one of the leading exponents of the instrument, known for expanding its expressive and melodic possibilities within Hindustani classical music.
The concert concludes with a vocal performance by Begum Parween Sultana, whose khayal singing is admired for its technical precision, expansive range, and emotional depth.
