The Sabrang Classical Music Concert – Gala Evening features the legendary Padma Shri Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, one of the world’s most respected Tabla maestros. With over five decades of global contribution to Indian Classical Music, he is celebrated for his mastery, innovation, and dedication to preserving India’s rhythmic heritage. 

A two-time Grammy nominee and Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee, Pandit ji serves as Director of Percussion at the Ali Akbar College of Music and the California Institute of the Arts. Trained under Pandit Santosh Krishna Biswas of the Lucknow Gharana, his artistry blends tradition with creative depth.
