Pt. Kushal Das Sitar Recital with Sandiip Kr Ghosh | NAAD Season 5, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

A Hindustani classical music concert featuring sitar maestro Pt. Kushal Das will be presented as part of NAAD Season 5 at GD Birla Sabhaghar, Kolkata, on 21 March 2026 from 6:00 PM onwards. The program is organized by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in association with the Pandit Shankar Ghosh Tabla Foundation and is curated by maestro Bikram Ghosh.

Pt. Kushal Das is known for his refined sitar performances rooted in the traditional Hindustani classical music system. The recital will feature a selection of classical ragas presented through the sitar, highlighting the melodic depth and improvisational framework that defines the Hindustani instrumental tradition. He will be accompanied by noted tabla artist Sandiip Kr Ghosh, providing rhythmic accompaniment throughout the performance.

NAAD Season 5 is a concert series dedicated to presenting leading classical musicians and promoting the traditions of Indian classical music.
