Nrityabhinaya Bharatanatyam Workshop by Guru Dr. Sathyanarayana Raju at Omkara Space, Geneva

Nrityabhinaya is an intensive Bharatanatyam workshop scheduled from 23 April to 30 April 2026 at Omkara Space, Geneva, Switzerland. Led by Karnataka Kalashree Guru Dr. Sathyanarayana Raju, the program is designed to explore both the technical precision of nritta (pure dance) and the expressive depth of abhinaya (interpretation).

The workshop focuses on structured training in Bharatanatyam technique, combining rhythmic movement, body alignment, and expressive storytelling. Participants will engage with traditional compositions while refining their understanding of gesture, emotion, and stage presence under the guidance of an internationally recognized performer and teacher.

Hosted at Omkara Space, a dedicated center for Indian classical dance in Geneva, the workshop contributes to ongoing efforts to promote Bharatanatyam globally. It provides an immersive learning environment for dancers seeking deeper engagement with classical repertoire and performance practice.
