The IIC Summer Festival of Music 2026 presents a distinguished Hindustani Vocal Recital by Nila Sinha Roy, an accomplished vocalist from Delhi and disciple of Pt. Amiya Ranjan Banerjee, Vidushi Dipali Nag, and Guru Smt. Shanti Hiranand. Deeply rooted in the traditions of Hindustani classical music, her performances are known for their melodic depth, emotional expression, and thoughtful interpretation of ragas.
Joining her on stage are Pandit Durjay Bhaumik (Tabla) and Ustad Murad Ali Khan (Sarangi), whose artistry enriches the concert through intricate rhythmic support and evocative melodic accompaniment. Together, the artists create a compelling musical experience that highlights the beauty of classical vocal music and the enduring traditions of the guru-shishya parampara.
Presented at the C. D. Deshmukh Auditorium as part of the annual IIC Summer Festival of Music, this recital offers audiences an opportunity to immerse themselves in the richness, elegance, and expressive power of Hindustani classical music.
