Harini: Radiant with the Ultimate Nectar – Meera Sreenarayanan Live in Austin

Kalaavidya Foundation presents Harini: Radiant with the Ultimate Nectar, a Bharatanatyam solo production by Meera Sreenarayanan. The work explores metaphysical ideas through narrative and symbolic storytelling, drawing on themes of devotion, spirituality, and the relationship between the individual soul and the divine.

Structured as a solo performance, Harini presents a dialogue between the jīvātmā (individual soul), represented through human experience, and guiding forces symbolized by elements such as the bee and the lotus associated with Goddess Lakshmi. The production integrates traditional Bharatanatyam vocabulary with conceptual storytelling, offering an interpretative approach to classical dance.

Scheduled for 3 May 2026 at 5:30 PM, the event will take place at the Austin Hindu Temple Auditorium. As part of Kalaavidya Foundation’s programming, the performance contributes to the presentation of Indian classical dance in international contexts, engaging audiences with thematic and narrative-driven works.
