Echoes of the Maihar Tradition – A Sarod Duet | 16 July

Echoes of the Maihar Tradition presents an immersive evening of Hindustani classical music featuring an exquisite sarod duet by Shiraz Ali Khan and Dwiptanil Bhattacharjee, accompanied by Mainak Biswas on tabla. Rooted in the illustrious Maihar Gharana, the concert celebrates one of India's most revered instrumental traditions through evocative ragas, intricate improvisation, and refined musical dialogue. 

The recital draws inspiration from the musical legacy of the Senia Maihar Gharana, established by Ustad Allauddin Khan and enriched by generations of distinguished musicians.
