Dhruva Swar: A Tribute to Pt. Dhruva Ghosh featuring Swar Sharma and Amaan Hussain | 5 July

The second evening of Dhruva Swar continues the celebration of the life and musical legacy of revered sarangi maestro Pt. Dhruva Ghosh with an evocative programme dedicated to the expressive beauty of vocal and sarangi music at Baithak Hall, Sangit Mahabharati. Organised by the Sangit Mahabharati and the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, the event highlights the artistic values and musical excellence that Pt. Dhruva Ghosh inspired in generations of performers and listeners.

The programme features Hindustani vocalist Swar Sharma alongside a special sarangi recital by Amaan Hussain. Joining the featured artists are distinguished accompanists Ishaan Ghosh, Vanraj Shastri, Abhinay Ravande, and Rahul Bene, whose artistry contributes to the richness and collaborative nature of the presentation. Through vocal expression and the resonant voice of the sarangi, the evening offers a meaningful tribute to one of the most respected figures in Hindustani classical music.
