A day-long “Celebration of Indian Classical Music” will be held on 29 March 2026 at Stein Auditorium, presenting two Hindustani vocal concerts across morning and afternoon sessions. The event brings together artists representing established gharana traditions in a structured concert format.

The morning session at 10:30 AM features a vocal recital by Ojesh Pratap Singh of the Gwalior gharana, a disciple of Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar. The afternoon session at 2:00 PM presents Jayateerth Mevundi of the Kirana gharana, known for his khayal renditions.

Both performances will be supported by accompaniment from Vinod Lele on tabla and Vinay Mishra on harmonium. Designed as an open-access event, the concert offers audiences an opportunity to experience traditional raga presentations within a formal auditorium setting.
