49th Gokulashtami Celebrations 2026: Carnatic Vocal Concert by Sriranjani Santhanagopalan in Bengaluru

The 49th Gokulashtami Celebrations 2026 continue with a Carnatic vocal concert by Sriranjani Santhanagopalan, presented by Unnati on 26 August 2026 at Odukkathur Mutt, Bengaluru. Recognised for her expressive stage presence and refined musicianship, Sriranjani is admired for performances that combine technical precision with emotional depth, making every concert an engaging experience for rasikas.

Known for her effortless handling of intricate musical nuances, Sriranjani presents Carnatic music with a natural balance of tradition and creativity. Her concerts feature a thoughtfully curated repertoire enriched by raga alapana, neraval, kalpana swaras, and improvisation, reflecting both her strong classical foundation and distinctive artistic identity.

She will be accompanied by R. K. Ramkumar on violin, Sumesh Narayan on mridangam, and Shamith S. Gowda on ghatam. Together, the ensemble will present a traditional Carnatic concert that highlights the melodic, rhythmic, and improvisational richness of the classical concert format.

Organised by Unnati as part of the annual 49th Gokulashtami Celebrations, the concert will be held at the historic Odukkathur Mutt, one of Bengaluru's well-known venues for devotional and Indian classical music programmes.
