Shiva Soundsystem reworked Crossing the Rubicon into Crossing the Rubicon (Shiva Soundsystem Remix). Grain remixed Last Chance into Last Chance (Grain Remix).
The original Land of Gold album addressed themes of migration and displacement. The remix album retains the core compositions but shifts the sonic palette toward ambient, downtempo, and electronic textures.
