Sahaj refers to the yogic principle of integration, blending the spiritual with the worldly.
It is our privilege at Aalaap to collaborate with Amethyst to present Sahaj, a two-day festival of music and dance by two internationally acclaimed, non-resident Indian artists: Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer Mythili Prakash from the US and composer and Sarod player Soumik Datta from the UK.
Sahaj will feature Mythili Prakash’s
AR | DHA on February 12 and TRAVELLERS by Soumik Datta on February 13.
Both evenings will unfold in the gorgeous premises of The Folly at Amethyst, Chennai. Both these pieces were created in residence at G5A and are supported by Soumik Datta Arts. Both the works feature a stellar line-up of artists and we can’t wait to introduce you to these works
