Prabhat Sangam – A Celebration of Two Musical Traditions at The Box, Pune | 19 July

Prabhat Sangam is a unique morning concert that brings together Hindustani and Carnatic classical music alongside the expressive traditions of Kathak and Bharatanatyam. The event explores the beauty of a single raga through two distinct musical systems and dance interpretations, creating an engaging cross-cultural artistic experience. 

The programme features Vidushi Aparna Gurav (Hindustani Vocal) and Vidushi Nandini Rao Gujar (Carnatic Vocal), with accompaniment by Shri Pranav Gurav (Tabla), Umesh Purohit (Harmonium), Shri Pancham Upadhyay (Mridangam), and Shri Vijay Balaji (Violin). The session is moderated by Guru Smt. Smita Mahajan, with dance presentations by Kalavardhini (Bharatanatyam) and Nadroop (Kathak).
