Pranav Gurav

Pranav Gurav was born into a musical family and began his tabla training at the age of three under his father, Shri Milind Gurav. His formal development continued with four years of training under Pt. Nana Mulye, followed by nine years of advanced guidance from Pt. Suresh Samant. He is presently refining his art under the mentorship of Dr. Aneesh Pradhan.

His practice spans both solo tabla recitals and accompaniment for vocal and instrumental concerts. He has performed alongside artists such as Pt. Kaivalyakumar Gurav and Vid. Yashaswi Sirpotdar, contributing rhythmic support within traditional concert formats.

In addition to performances across India, Gurav has appeared internationally, including a tour of the United States in 2024 with vocalist Dhananjay Hegde. He is also a co-founder of the initiative Sangeet Kalanidhi, reflecting his engagement with contemporary platforms for classical music.

Through sustained training and active performance, Pranav Gurav’s work reflects continuity with established tabla pedagogy while situating it within present-day concert and educational contexts.
