Padmashri Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande – Hindustani Classical Vocal Concert | Sangeet Sabha Golden Jubilee (22 March 2026)

As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Sangeet Sabha Bandra East, a special Hindustani classical vocal concert by Padmashri Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande will be presented on 22 March 2026 at 6:30 PM. The concert will take place at the Tata Theatre, National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Nariman Point, Mumbai, marking the concluding evening of the three-day classical music festival.

Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande is widely recognised as one of the leading vocalists of the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana in Hindustani classical music. Known for her detailed raga exposition and scholarly approach to classical repertoire, her performances present traditional khayal compositions along with rare and complex ragas associated with the Jaipur tradition.

The event forms the final concert of Sangeet Sabha’s 50th anniversary festival, which brings together prominent vocalists and instrumentalists across three evenings of Indian classical music. Hosted at the Tata Theatre, NCPA Mumbai, the programme continues Sangeet Sabha’s long-standing commitment to presenting distinguished artists and celebrating the depth and diversity of Hindustani classical music.
