Bansuri Recital by Jayateerth Kulkarni – Bansuri Parampara 2026 (Day 1)

The opening performance of Bansuri Parampara 2026 (Day 1) features a Hindustani classical bansuri recital by Jayateerth Kulkarni, accompanied by Dr. Atul Kamble on tabla. The recital highlights the expressive tradition of the bansuri within Hindustani classical music, presenting melodic improvisation and raga-based performance in the gayaki anga style.

The performance will take place on 14 March 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Poona Western Club, Bhugaon, Pune. This recital marks the beginning of the evening’s classical music program, setting the tone for the Bansuri Parampara festival, which celebrates the legacy and evolving traditions of the Indian bamboo flute.

Bansuri Parampara 2026 is organized by the Blissful Winds Foundation in association with the Pt. Rupak Kulkarni Music Foundation. The series focuses on promoting the bansuri tradition and presenting leading artists of Indian classical music while providing audiences an opportunity to experience live performances rooted in the guru–shishya parampara of Hindustani music.
