The 49th Gokulashtami Celebrations 2026 continues with a Carnatic vocal concert by Smt. S. Aishwarya and Kum. S. Saundarya, popularly known as the Divine Sisters, on 19 August 2026 at Odukkathur Mutt, Bengaluru. Organised by Unnati, the concert marks the duo's first appearance at UTSAV, adding another distinguished presentation to the festival's annual series of Carnatic music performances.
The sisters are recognised for carrying forward the musical legacy of M.S. Subbulakshmi through the celebrated MS Bani while presenting a repertoire of Carnatic classical compositions at leading sabhas and festivals in India and abroad. Their performance is expected to feature traditional kritis, devotional compositions, and manodharma elements that reflect the depth and continuity of this musical tradition.
They will be accompanied by Dr Jyotsna Srikanth on violin, M. S. Venkata Subramanian on mridangam, and C. P. Vyasa Vittala on khanjira. The concert forms part of UTSAV 2026 – 49th Gokulashtami Celebrations, a festival dedicated to presenting leading Carnatic musicians and preserving India's classical music heritage.
