Hanif Khan

Hanif Khan is a London-based tabla player known for his expertise in the Delhi gharana tradition of Hindustani classical music. He received his early training from his father, Ustad Hidayat Khan, and has developed a performance career spanning classical concerts, cross-cultural collaborations, and fusion projects. As an accomplished accompanist, he has performed with leading musicians including Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, Ghulam Ali, Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Pandit Debasis Chakroborty, Pandit Ajay Prasanna, El Massry Hussein, and Rajan and Sajan Mishra. Alongside traditional Hindustani classical performances, Hanif Khan actively collaborates across musical genres while continuing to promote Indian percussion through concerts and cultural events in the United Kingdom and internationally.
