B U Ganesh Prasad

B. U. Ganesh Prasad is a highly respected Indian classical musician celebrated for his mastery as both a Carnatic vocalist and violinist. Trained under eminent gurus including Vidwan Basavanagudi G. Nataraj, Prof. V. V. Subramanyam, Vidwan Bangalore S. Shankar, and Sangita Kalanidhi P. S. Narayanaswamy, he is known for blending authentic vocal aesthetics with refined violin artistry. His performances are admired for their traditional depth, melodic clarity, and improvisational excellence. As a violin accompanist, he has performed alongside legendary musicians including D. K. Pattammal, Dr M. Balamuralikrishna, Dr K. J. Yesudas, Sanjay Subrahmanyan, Bombay Jayashri, T. M. Krishna, and Abhishek Raghuram. He has presented concerts at prestigious international venues such as the Paul Getty Centre in Los Angeles, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, and Théâtre de la Ville in Paris.
