Avinash Dighe

Avinash Dighe is a respected harmonium accompanist in the Hindustani classical music tradition, recognised for his attentive support to vocal performances. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a reliable and musically sensitive accompanist for established and emerging vocalists.

He has provided harmonium accompaniment for noted artists including Bhimsen Joshi, Shrinivas Joshi and Viraj Joshi. His accompaniment style focuses on maintaining the melodic framework of the raga while closely following the vocalist’s phrasing and improvisation.
