History
Natya Sampada was founded by Vidushi Dr. Manasa Kanti, a Bharatanatyam and Kathak practitioner, teacher, and choreographer. Her early training began under Karnataka Kalathilaka Guru Smt. Radha Sridhar, followed by advanced studies including a Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance under Padmashree Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam. Her academic and performance journey shaped the vision behind Natya Sampada as a center for disciplined and meaningful dance education.
Established as a space to pass on her training and values, Natya Sampada developed into a structured dance school where classical learning is combined with mentorship. Over the years, the school has built a reputation for producing well-trained dancers who demonstrate both technical competence and artistic maturity.
Alongside her work as a dance educator, Dr. Manasa Kanti has been associated with television, radio, choreography, and academic research, reflecting a multidisciplinary engagement with the arts. This broader exposure informs Natya Sampada’s approach to performance, production, and arts education.
Today, Natya Sampada functions as both a training institution and a performing ensemble, participating in festivals, cultural programs, and collaborative productions in India and overseas.
