Nadachakra Trust

Nadachakra Trust is a New Delhi-based non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Indian classical music, with a specific focus on the Dhrupad tradition. Operating from Mayur Vihar Phase 1, the Trust works to sustain one of the oldest forms of Hindustani music through curated concerts, festivals, and institutional collaborations.

The organization is widely recognized for its Dhrupad Vaibhav series, a flagship festival curated by Dhrupad vocalist Pt. Nirmalya Dey. These events present a meditative and traditional approach to classical performance, featuring artists across vocal and instrumental forms such as Rudra Veena, Surbahar, and Pakhawaj. Nadachakra Trust regularly collaborates with cultural institutions, including the Raza Foundation and venues like the India Habitat Centre and India International Centre in New Delhi.

Through its programming, Nadachakra Trust contributes to the documentation, continuity, and public presentation of Dhrupad music in contemporary contexts.
