Lullabai

Lullabai is a collaborative instrumental track recorded by slide guitarists Debashish Bhattacharya and Bob Brozman. The composition appears as the eleventh track on their joint album Mahima, released on June 17, 2003, under Riverboat Records. The album adopted a CD format and featured a fusion of Indian classical music with global slide guitar traditions.

The track spans 3 minutes and 57 seconds. Bhattacharya contributed his signature Hindustani slide guitar technique, while Brozman incorporated elements of blues, Hawaiian, and other international slide styles. Mahima marked one of several collaborations between the two artists, blending raga-inspired phrasing with Brozman’s eclectic approach to resonator and National steel guitars.

The album received distribution through World Music Network, Riverboat Records’ parent label, and emphasized improvisational interplay between the performers.
