The inaugural day of Youth Music Festival 2026 at The Bangalore Gayana Samaja brings together promising young Carnatic musicians in an evening of instrumental and vocal performances. The programme begins with a violin duo recital by Aditi Hebbar and Arundathi Hebbar, accompanied by Shrinidhi Raghunandan (mridangam) and Pratham Nataraj (morsing). The festival continues with a vocal concert by Mahatee Raghuram, supported by Hrishitha Kedage on violin, Ananth M Athreya on mridangam, and R Vishwanath on ghatam. The event opens with a lamp-lighting ceremony and inauguration, marking the beginning of a week dedicated to nurturing and showcasing emerging classical music talent.
