As part of Darbar Festival 2026, acclaimed sitarist Jasdeep Singh Degun returns to the festival stage alongside celebrated tabla maestro Sukhvinder Singh Pinky for a captivating performance rooted in the traditions of Hindustani classical music.

Recognised internationally for his artistic vision and musical innovation, Jasdeep Singh Degun has emerged as one of the most influential sitar players of his generation. Known for balancing deep respect for tradition with a contemporary creative approach, his work has introduced new audiences to Indian classical music while remaining firmly grounded in the raga tradition. For this special Darbar Festival presentation, he returns to the classical concert format, exploring the expressive depth and improvisational richness of the sitar.

Joining him is Sukhvinder Singh Pinky, one of today's leading tabla artists, renowned for his virtuosity, dynamic accompaniment, and mastery of rhythm. Together, the duo will present an immersive musical journey through raga and tala, showcasing the intricate dialogue between melody and percussion that lies at the heart of Hindustani classical performance.
