Deborshee Bhattacharya

Deborshee Bhattacharjee is a talented Hindustani classical vocalist from India, widely appreciated for his rich voice, disciplined training, and expressive musical performances. Born into a musically inclined family, he developed a deep interest in Indian classical music from a very young age. His first lessons in music came from his mother and guru, Smt. Reena Bhattacharjee, who introduced him to the traditions and discipline of Hindustani classical singing. With strong foundational training and dedication, Deborshee gradually emerged as a promising young vocalist in the Indian classical music scene. 

To further refine his musical skills, Deborshee continued his advanced training under the guidance of the legendary vocalist Ajoy Chakrabarty, one of the most respected maestros of Hindustani classical music. Under his mentorship, Deborshee deepened his understanding of ragas, voice culture, improvisation, and the emotional depth of classical compositions. His musical style reflects a balance between traditional purity and modern presentation, allowing him to connect with both classical music lovers and younger audiences. 

Apart from being a performer, Deborshee is also associated with renowned musical institutions such as Shrutinandan and the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata. He contributes as a senior music tutor and mentor, helping train the next generation of classical musicians. Through his teaching and performances, he continues to promote the rich heritage of Indian classical music both nationally and globally.
